Privacy policy

Dialed is designed to work without user accounts and without requiring you to identify yourself in the fitting flow.

Dialed is operated by {{PARENT_LLC_LEGAL_NAME}}, a Texas limited liability company.

1. Information you enter

Depending on the fitting, Dialed can process ball speed, launch angle, carry distance, spin, spin axis, club speed, attack angle, total distance, apex height, landing angle, club being fitted, launch monitor used, typical shot shape, improvement priorities, where you say your game is headed, current club and loft, shaft flex, budget, handedness, gapping and carry information, and feedback.

2. CSV uploads

If you upload a compatible launch-monitor CSV, Dialed reads relevant shot information and uses it to calculate fitting inputs.

The uploaded file itself is not retained by Dialed. Dialed keeps only information needed for the resulting fitting.

3. Information the fitting does not require

The ordinary fitting does not require a user account, name, account email address, phone number, password, date of birth, advertising identifier, or precise location.

Payment-card details are entered into Stripe-hosted Checkout, not Dialed’s fitting form.

4. Report identifier and share link

Every fitting receives a long random identifier that forms the report URL.

Anyone who possesses that report link can open the report. The link therefore functions like a bearer credential.

If the report is unlocked, anyone with the link can also view the paid report.

5. Abuse-prevention information

Web servers receive an IP address when a device connects.

Dialed does not write the raw IP address into its fitting database for rate limiting.

For abuse prevention, Dialed temporarily combines the IP address with a secret value and converts it into a pseudonymous code used to count requests.

The temporary rate-limit code is removed after approximately two hours. The hosting provider may process IP addresses as part of ordinary hosting and security operations.

6. Basic site measurement

Dialed uses limited first-party measurement for aggregate counts such as page views, fittings started, paywall views, checkout starts, purchases, rejected inputs, and broad arrival categories.

These measurements are not intended to build an advertising profile of a golfer.

7. Cookies and browser storage

On Dialed’s own ordinary visitor-facing pages, Dialed currently does not use ordinary visitor cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB for behavioral tracking.

Dialed currently does not run third-party behavioral advertising or analytics on its visitor-facing pages.

Stripe-hosted Checkout operates separately and may use cookies or similar technologies under Stripe’s policies.

If Dialed later adds advertising, third-party analytics, session replay, tracking pixels, or similar technology, this policy and any required consent flow must be reassessed first.

8. Research and product improvement

The research option is off unless you affirmatively choose it.

If you opt in, authorized Dialed personnel may review fitting information for product-improvement purposes.

If you do not opt in, the fitting can still be processed and retained as needed to provide the service, but it will not be included in that research-review workflow.

9. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe.

Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, and an email address connected with the transaction or receipt.

Dialed does not receive or store your complete card number.

Stripe may make certain transaction and customer information available to Dialed through Stripe’s systems.

Dialed does not intentionally copy the checkout email address into its fitting database or use it for marketing.

Dialed may retain Stripe Checkout and Payment Intent references, amount, tax amount where applicable, currency, fitting or report unlocked, and refund or chargeback status.

10. Service providers

Netlify for website hosting and delivery. Neon for database hosting. Stripe for payment processing.

Dialed does not currently disclose fitting information to an advertising network.

11. Retention

Unless deleted sooner:

Unpaid fitting data: maximum 12 months after creation.
Active paid reports: Dialed does not currently impose an automatic expiration date on active paid reports. We retain the fitting information needed to keep the paid report available until you delete the fitting, the purchase is refunded or reversed and the fitting later becomes subject to the unpaid-retention rule, or Dialed permanently discontinues hosting of the report. Dialed does not guarantee that report hosting or the service will remain available indefinitely.
Research participation: does not override deletion.
Rate-limit records: approximately two hours.
Payment and accounting records: limited records may be retained as reasonably necessary for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, disputes, and legal obligations.
Aggregate statistics no longer tied to an individual fitting may be retained longer.

12. Deleting a fitting

Use Delete this fitting and my numbers on the report page.

When you delete a fitting, Dialed removes the golfer-provided information and report information intended to be erased from active use.

Deletion cannot be undone.

If the fitting was paid, a limited payment and accounting record may remain for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal purposes.

13. The report link is also a powerful credential

Because Dialed does not maintain an account for you, the report link is the principal credential associated with the fitting.

Anyone who possesses the report link may also be able to use actions available on that report, including deletion if the current interface permits it.

Share the link only with people you trust.

14. Privacy requests

You may contact support@dialed.golf.

Include the report link if the request concerns a particular fitting.

Because Dialed does not collect names or account emails as part of the fitting flow, it ordinarily cannot locate a fitting based only on identity.

15. Sale and advertising

Dialed does not currently sell personal information or disclose fitting information to advertising networks for targeted advertising.

There is currently no AdSense or other third-party advertising network operating on the fitting service.

16. Children

Dialed is a general-audience golf service and is not directed to children under 13.

17. Security

Dialed uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect the service and information it processes.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Keep your report link private if you do not want others to access the report.

18. Changes

Dialed may update this Privacy Policy when the service or its data practices change. The effective date identifies the current version.
